Residents of Osney Island automatically become members of the residents’ association by living on the island. All residents are welcome to attend the AGM (usually in April) and can attend OIRA committee meetings (by invitation).

The OIRA noticeboard is at the south end of Bridge Street, near the post box. To display items contact Julia Marsh, 26 Bridge Street: 01865 247001, firstname.lastname@example.org
OIRA organises several events per year, which are publicised in the newsletter and on the News page of the website. They usually include an open gardens afternoon, tea on the towpath, and a children’s Christmas lantern parade. You don’t need to be a member to come to events.
Two gazebos are available for short loan and cost £5 to borrow. Contact Alan Goodwin.
